Sarcoma Awareness Month is celebrated in July to raise awareness of sarcoma. The theme for Sarcoma Awareness month is “Raising Awareness to Create Survivors”. This month is the perfect opportunity to pay tribute to those who have been impacted by sarcoma and to advocate for the needs of those who live with sarcoma each and every day. Wear Yellow Day is held on July 12th to encourage everyone to wear yellow to show support for sarcoma patients and their families. On this day, the whole family, even pets, can don their yellow for sarcoma awareness. If you dress up, make sure to share photos using the hashtag #WearYellowDay. July 26th is when you Light Up for Sarcoma, by illuminating various monuments and buildings. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that forms in the body’s tissues that connect, surround, or support other structures, with more than 70 varieties. This cancer can negatively impact vessels, blood, fat, muscle, the lining of the joints, and tendons. When fighting this cancer, you will be faced with many life-changing decisions, and we are here to support you in this journey. #SarcomaAwarenessMonth #WearYellowDay #FightingTheBattle #Doctor’sChoiceCaresAboutSarcoma

How exciting it is to see we have over 18,000 followers! In lieu of using this as a platform to promote ourselves, we’d love to shine the light on people living with rare and less common cancers in Australia.Imagine finding out you have a cancer so rare that there’s no information, education or treatment out there for you to understand your disease or improve your chances of living? If you know anyone who needs support, Rare Cancers Australia is a not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to improve the lives and health outcomes of all people living with rare or less common cancers. So that no one feels alone and everyone is given the best possible chance to survive cancer. If you would like to increase the chances for these patients to gain access to non-funded treatment, follow this link - https://lnkd.in/gcv-2ZhZTo our 18,000 followers, please do like, share or repost to extend support for these patients. Remember, these patients are someone’s child, sibling, parent or friend. We can all contribute to making a difference.

During this week, dedicated to raising awareness of #HeadAndNeckCancer, we want to extend our support to all those fighting this disease, survivors, and the families who selflessly support their loved ones through these challenges. You are not alone!#HeadAndNeckCancer is the seventh most common cancer worldwide. I’d like to raise the attention to this issue, especially knowing it is possible to reduce the burden of the disease through early detection. Recognizing the signs, such as persistent sore throat, difficulty swallowing, unexplained weight loss and voice changes - can make all the difference. We at #Merck are committed to advancing research, providing support, and spreading knowledge to fight this together! Are you with us? #MakeSenseCampaign #HeadAndNeckCancer #EmbracingCarers
